Аннотация. В статье автор рассматривает вопросы, связанные с «географически-ориентированным педагогическим пониманием», и то, как можно их развивать у будущих учителей географии. Автор отмечает, что для большинства учителей географии важными компонентами географически-ориентированной педагогики являются: понимание мира с позиции географии, полевые исследования и использование характерных для географии технологий.
