Аннотация статьи:

Понятие «экономико-географическое положение» и сложившееся на его основе научное учение испытывают сегодня противоречивые тенденции развития, что связано с изменениями географической картины мира под влиянием научно-технического прогресса и глобализации, а также изменением социального заказа к географической науке. Географы должны адекватно отражать положение территорий, избегая крайностей в подходах и оценках.

Annotation to the article:

The concept of "economic and geographical location”  and scientific teaching experience prevailing on its basis, today suffer contradictory  trends of development, that is associated with changes in the geographical worldview happening under the influence of scientific and technological progress and globalization, as well as with changing social order to geographic science. Geographers should adequately reflect the situation of the territories, avoiding exigencies in approaches and evaluations.
